Waves Trump Other Clean Energy Sources

Alternative fuels, wind and solar power may reign supreme within the environmental hierarchy, but as Oregonians, we should pay closer attention to a resource much closer to home: wave energy. Wave energy produces far more energy much quicker than any other “clean” sources, and any possible harm to the environment remains irreverent. Projects exist in the making across the globe, from Australia and Portugal to our own Lincoln County Community. Past attempts have perished in the surf, but if more money and attention could be invested in this renewable resource, our energy woes soon would be solved.
